Operation Procedure
1. Purpose:
This procedure is established to ensure that when there is quality abnormity in production,
non-conforming product shall be picked out in selection operation and a clear distinction
between conforming product and non-conforming ones which can be repaired in rework
operation. For the ones which cannot be repaired in rework operation shall be disposed according
to regulations in scrapping operation.
2. Scope:
It applies to all the material, semi-manufactured product, final product or return products for
repairing in selection, rework or scrapping.

4. Responsibility and Authority
Manufacturing Dept.:
Assist the selection operation for abnormal material scrapping and distinction making.
Arrange rework scrapping operation.
Classify non-conforming product rework.
Engineering Dept.:
Instruct selection methods
Provide rework operation instruction and process
Quality Assurance Dept.:
Confirm rework operation process
Verify product quality in rework operation
Material Management Dept.: Responsible for setting up production schedule of selection and
