同位语从句 :
在复合句中作名词的同位语的名词性从句。 : 同位语从句对名词进一步解释,
说明名词的具体内容。
:
常跟的抽象名词有: fact/ idea/reason
thought/order/ doubt/news/hope
truth/belief/promise/fact/word …
that/whether/who/ which
what/when/where/why/how
同位语从句
1)The fact that he was killed made us surprised.
2)I have no idea when he will be back.
3)We heard the news that our team had won.
4)Can you find the answer to the question what was wrong with puter?
5)He made a suggestionthat we (should) read some original English literature works.
1. 同位语从句有时被别的词或短语把它和名词隔开:
注意:
1:The story goes that William Tell killed the king with an arrow.
2:Word came that their team had won.(word:n消息)
2. 同位语从句中使用虚拟语气的情况
注意:
在suggestion, advice, request, order, demand, requirement等意为“建议,要求,命令”的n. /,“should+ v原形”,其中should可省略。
---Our teacher gave us some suggestion how we (should) use puter.
---The manager ordered him that he (should) finish the work in a day.
连接词that引导的同位语从句
that在从句中不充当成分,只起连接作用.
He told me the news that he would
come home from aboard soon.
他告诉我一个消息,他马上要从国外回国.
There is no doubt that the prices
of cars will go down.
只用whether引导,不用if.
