Note:现在分词做定语,常修饰事物。
Past participle
过去分词(done)
Passive(被动)
Finished(完成)
Note: 过去分词做定语,常修饰人。
Note: 分词做定语有两种位置。单个分词做前置定语;分词短语做后置定语。
单个分词做定语,放在被修饰词前。
a broken heart
boiled eggs
boiling water
a sleeping baby
注意:
单个词语left (剩下的)修饰名词----后置。
He is the only person left.
This is all the money left.
This is a cell phone.
It is made in China.
This is a cell phone made in China.
分词短语做定语,放在被修饰词后。
The girl standing there is my sister.
There is a cat looking at itself in the mirror.
人们喜爱两千年前在中国修建的长城。
People like the Great Wall built 2000 years ago in China.
Summary
位置:单词前置(除left),短语后置
作用:修饰名词
关系:doing---主动,进行
