完形填空是一种综合性很强的题型,它全面考查学生英语基础知识和综合运用语言的能力,其中包括识词能力、阅读能力、理解能力和进行逻辑推理和判断的能力。完型填空题考查趋势由局部理解向整体理解转移, 减少了单句层次的试题, 增加了语篇理解的试题, 设题突出考查对整句, 对上下文乃至全篇的理解。细分起来,完形填空的主要考点有:
