popular with意为“受……欢迎”,with后
跟sb,with也可用among代替。如:
Fashion is a very popular magazine in
America.
《时尚》是美国很流行的杂志。
He is very interested in popular songs.
他对流行歌曲很感兴趣。
The song is popular with/among young people.
那首歌很受年轻人欢迎。
interested in doing sth. 对…感兴趣
with sb. 同意某人意见,同义词组为agree on/about,但用法有区别:Agree with 表示同意某人的意见、主意或所说的事情,with后常接表示人的名词或代词,也可接意见、看法等名词。 agree with you /what you 、你所说的话。
Agree about/on 表示两人以上取得一致意见。. They agree on/about this 。
Agree to do ,同意做某事。. We agreed to meet on 。
make peace 为不定式短语,作way的后置定语。动词不定式、介词短语或句子作定语,要放在被修饰词的后面。Make peace with . Iwant to make peace with Li Hong after 。
with happiness/sadness 以喜剧/悲剧结尾
The stories usually end with happiness.
故事通常以喜剧结束。
end (...) with 以……结束,反义词组为 begin with,反义词组为 begin with…以……开始,如:
The English alphabet begins with A and ends with Z.
英文字母表以A开始, 以Z结束.
She ended the class with a song.
她用一首歌结束了这堂课。
