The seven deadly sins, also known as the capital vices or cardinal sins, is a classification of vices (part of Christian ethics) that has been used since early Christian times to educate and instruct Christians concerning fallen humanity's tendency to sin.
Lust or lechery (carnal "luxuria") is an intense desire. It is usually thought of as excessive sexual want; however, the word was originally a general term for desire. Therefore lust could involve the intense desire of money, food, fame, or power as well.
色欲--放纵自己的欲望,只重视肉体的满足,忽略心灵的沟通交流。
色欲是指过于强烈的、不合乎道德的欲望。对性爱的渴望,对刺激的追求,均属于色欲之罪。乱摸私处、强奸、鸡奸等,都是色欲最极端的罪行。
贪食--浪费食物
狭义的观点认为“贪食”等于浪费食物。从广义来说,就是指“沉迷”于某事物,如酗酒、滥用药物、屯积不必要的物品、沉溺于赌博玩乐而不思进取等。

Derived from the Latingluttire, meaning to gulp down or swallow, gluttony(Latin, gula) is the over-indulgence and over-consumption of anything to the point of waste.
贪婪--希望占有比所需更多的事物
尤其是指金钱或权力的过份追求。圣多玛斯•阿奎纳认为贪婪是“背向神的罪恶,正如所有朽坏的罪恶一样,是人为了会腐败的东西,放弃永恒的东西。”与贪婪有关的罪包括偷窃、打劫、贪腐、叛国等。
Greed (Latin, avaritia), also known as avarice, cupidity orcovetousness, is, like lust and gluttony, a sin of excess. However, greed (as seen by the church) is applied to a very excessive or rapacious desire and pursuit of material possessions.
懒惰--无责任心及浪费时间
懒惰被宣告为有罪是因为:

Sloth (Latin, Socordia) can entail different vices. While sloth is sometimes defined as physical laziness, spiritual laziness is emphasized. Failing to develop spiritually is key to ing guilty of sloth. In the Christian faith, sloth rejects grace and God.

暴怒--憎恨他人
