怎样提高英语听说能力

提要: 我国大部分大学生在进入大学时已经学了近十年的英语。他们掌握了英语基本语法和一定量的英语
单词,具备了初步的英语阅读能力,但是英语听说能力相对较弱,尚不能从连贯的英语口语语流中获取信息,
更难3用英语准确、流利、得体地表达自己的思想。为了适应改革开放的需要,他们提高英语听说能力的心情非
常迫切。本文讨论了提高英语听说能力需要注意的几个问题,包括语言交际功能与语言形式的关系、领会能
力与产出能力的关系、学习和运用预构成语块和会话策略的重要性,并提出用仿说练习建立说地道英语的信
心。本文还对视听说教材的编写原则提出了建议。

Abstract: Upon entering universities, most Chinese students have been learning English for about 10 years. They have
learned basic English grammar mon English words. They have preliminary English reading ability, but their Eng
lish speaking and listening ability is relatively weak. They do not yet have the ability to extract information from fluent
English speech flow, not to mention the ability to express themselves accurately, fluently and approp riately in English.
To meet the needs of munication, they have a strong desire to learn to speak English. This paper dis
cusses issues concerning the teaching and learning of English speaking and listening abilities, especially the relationship
municative functions and language forms, the relationship between recep tive ability and p roductive ability,
the importance of learning pre fabricated chunks and conversational strategies, and the role of guided speaking in help
ing students municate confidently and fluently in English. Pri
