Wolves have 42 teeth.
Wolves breed once a year, December through March, depending on latitude, the gestation period is 63 days. The cubs weigh approximately one pound at birth and cannot see or hear.

Fur color varies from gray, tan and brown to pure white or black.
Packs can have as little as 2 members or as many as 30 members. Average pack size is 6 to 8.
A Wolf in a hurry can go as fast as 35 miles per hour for short distances.
The Wolves‘ diet of choice consists of deer, moose (麋,驼鹿), caribou (北美驯鹿), elk (驼鹿,麋), bison (犎牛), beaver (河狸,海狸). They have been known to survive on voles(田鼠) and mice if need be.

Wolf Wisdom
Many of the prevailing stories depict wolves in a negative way--such as in Aesop's Fables( 伊索寓言).
In  fiction, the wolf is sometimes represented as an evil carnivore (flesh-eating animal) which preys on small children and livestock. While wolves do sometimes prey on livestock, they are responsible for a very small percentage of the livestock deaths in North America.
Wolf Wisdom
Other cultures have better views of the wolf.  In Roman mythology (神话学), the god Mars considered the wolf a sacred animal, and the founders of Rome were raised by a wolf. Native Americans also hold the wolf in high regard and believe that wolves carry characteristics that humans should also find important, such as strong family structure and teaching the young.  Eastern
