Introduction to business ethics
As a CGA, you will, in one way or another, be part of the world of business. You may well be employed by a business. You may be in business for yourself as a sole practitioner or in a partnership. You may be advising individual clients on business matters by providing taxation, investment, or other financial advice. You may be offering services panies as an auditor or a financial or management advisor. Even if you work in the public sector or the not-for-profit sector, you will be providing accounting services and, in that sense, business services anizations.
In this unit of the Ethics Readings Handbook, the focus is on ethical issues faced not only by businesses but also by public and not-for-anizations.
