Tolerance of dimensions for stampings GB/T 13914-92
Theme and application scope
This standard specifies the dimensional tolerance grade symbol, code, tolerance number value and limit deviation of metal stampings.
This standard is applicable to metal material stampings. Non-metallic materials stampings can refer to this standard.
2. Terms
Flat stampings
Stampings formed by plane press cutting process.
Forming stampings
Stampings formed by bending, stretching and other forming methods.
3. Tolerance grade, symbol, code, and number value
There are 11 grades for flat stampings dimensional tolerance that is ST1, ST2 until to ST11. ST means flat stampings dimensional tolerance, and the tolerance grade code is expressed in Arabic numerals. From ST1 to ST11, the grade is decreased gradually.
The dimensional tolerance of flat stampings is applicable to flat stampings, and also applicable to the cutting dimension of the forming stampings.
