先行词

定语从句
先行词是人且在从句中作主语的情况下,用关系代词who代替从句中的先行词,放在从句开头
The scientist who drew the conclusion was Newton.

先行词是人且在从句中作宾语的情况下,用关系代词whom代替从句中的先行词,放在从句开头
I don’t know the man whom you are looking for.
Her father doesn’t like the boy whom she loves.

Whose: 先行词是人且在从句中修饰名词表示“某人的。。。”的含义时,可以用whose。。。,此时应注意whose 在从句中所修饰名词应提前到whose后

The singer whose song you like ing to Beijing.
定语从句
As可以用来代替一句话,翻译成汉语时往往表示“正如…”“正像…”;

定语从句
关系副词:先行词在从句中做地点状语的一部分时,可以用关系副词where代替从句中的地点状语。。。
They have knocked down the house where we lived last year.
