about…?
How about…? = What about…? 意为“……怎么样?”
常用来征求对方意见或表示邀请,后面可以跟名词、代词宾格、名词性物主代词或动词-ing形式。如:
Your father is a worker. What about your mother?你父亲是工人。你母亲呢?
Your desk is new. How about mine? 你的书桌是新的,我的呢?
How /What about going hiking tomorrow? 明天去远足怎么样?
don’t you…?
这个句型常用来提出建议,不需要回答。如:
Why don’t you take the train? 你为什么不坐火车?
Why don't you tell us about that? 为什么不告诉我们有关那事呢?
Why doesn't he go there by plane? 为什么他不乘飞机去呢?
这个句型还可用另一种形式表达:
Why not + 动词原形…?
Why not have some mooncakes? 为什么不吃些月饼呢?
Why not read English in the morning?为什么早晨不读英语呢?
+ be + 表语(形容词/ 名词)+ to do sth.
“做某事……”,不定式作真正主语。
It is impolite to talk loudly in public places. 在公共场所大声讲话是不礼貌的。

“你曾经……吗?”谈论过去某段经历及感受。如:

“邀请某人做某事”。如:
She invited some friends to play games at home. 她邀请了几个朋友在家里玩游戏。
Mary was invited by a friend to attend meetings of a anization.
Mary受一位朋友的邀请参加某个青年团体的集会。

也是用来征求对方的建议。如:
—What do you think Sally will be in five years? 你认为萨莉五年后会做什么?
—She’ll be a doctor. 她将是一名医生。
What do you think I should do? 你认为我该做什么?
What do you think of the music? 你觉得这音乐怎么样?
What do you think of the movie? 你认为这部电影怎么样?

so…that…的意思是“如此……以至于……”。如:
He’s so clever that he learns English very quickly. 他很聪明,英语学得很快。
I had so many falls that he was black and blue all over.
我摔了许多跤,以至于全身都是青一块紫一块的。
It’s so difficult a question that none of us can answer it.
