国际商会于2010年9月通过了Incoterms® 2010,并规定该版本于2011年1月1日生效,是迄今为止的关于贸易术语的含义的国际惯例的最新版本。
注意,贸易商人仍可在Incoterms® 2010实施后继续选择使用INCOTERMS 2000 的解释,或者如果合同中出现了新版本中没有的术语(如DAF、DES、DEQ等)仍将被认为适用早期版本。
因为目前世界上存在多种解释贸易术语含义的惯例及其不同年份的版本,为避免误解,2011年1月1日以后签订的贸易合同中最好标明合同适用的贸易术语的惯例的名称及其版本。
