摘要
垫江,地处重庆市中部,“上接巴渝之雄,下引蘷巫之胜”,占据渝北咽喉,区位优势突出。距离垫江置县至今已有一千四百年之久,堪称千年古县,然而千年古县在历史的见证下是怎样发展的呢,自古以来垫江以农业为主,地理位置优越交通便利,天然气矿业资源丰富,环境优美,但是我们没有很好的去开发挖掘,更好的利用天然的资源。工业方面,垫江是重庆市重要的产业布局地、承接产业转移基地、天然气精细化工基地以及机械制造、生物医药、电子信息产业配套基地,大西南天然气能源供应基地。是长安集团首选试车场所在地。长安汽车投资12亿到垫江建西部第一试车场,继北京、襄阳、海南等地的四个试车场之后,国内第五个、西部地区第一个符合国家标准的专业汽车综合试验场——长安汽车综合试验场总投资为12亿元、占地约3000亩。旅游经济方面,垫江旅游资源最富特色的是太平牡丹,是华夏牡丹之源。有2000多年的种植历史,种植面积超过10000亩。已经成功举办十一届中国重庆垫江牡丹节,太平牡丹景区荣膺全国AA级旅游景区和首批农业旅游示范点。在农业和工业已经有一定发展前景的基础上,我所要研究的是垫江的旅游经济现状和未来发展策略。

Abstract
