Preamble
All contents defined herein shall pulsive.
This standard corresponds ECE R94 General Rules on the Certification of Passenger
Protection by Vehicle Face Impact (Version 00, 1995). This standard is not of same effect
therewith, whose difference is mainly as follows:
This standard defines the face vertical impact, whereas the ECE R94 specifies face angle
impact.
In consideration of our country human body parameters and model characteristics, the section
of seat adjustment is referenced to JIS Article 18 contents, whereas the standard is added with
corresponding adjustment method.
This standard covers the annex 3 of ECE R94 into the text hereof, and eliminates annex 1,
annex 2 and annex 7 thereof. Annex A, Annex B, Annex C, and Annex D hereof shall
correspond Annex 4, Annex 5, Annex 6 and Annex 8 thereof.
This standard shall replace GB/T 11551-1989 Car Passenger Impact Protection.
The major difference between this standard and GB/T 11551-1989 is:
This standard is only applicable to M1 cars, which is smaller than the scope of GB/T
11551-1989 stipulations and eliminates the stipulations for traffic truck and passenger car
capacity over 9 persons ( chapter 1 of 1989 version; the first chapter hereof);
This standard eliminates the angle front shield impact test requirements, side displacement
panel impact test requirement, and side rolling test requirement as defined under GB/T
11551-1989 ( the chapter 6 of 1989 version is eliminated.).
This standard is added with Annex A, Annex B, Annex C and Annex D covering test
performance index determination, dummy placement and restraint system adjustment, seating
position point H and cover angle determination procedure, instrument test technology
requirement (please refer to Annex A, Annex B, Annex C and Annex D);
