本文通过对建筑项目的质量控制和工程进度的控制概念及影响因素的分析,阐述控制方法、措施、主要任务和原理,以利于指导施工项目的质量和进度控制。施工质量是一种过程性、纠正性和把关性的质量控制。只有严格对施工全过程进行质量控制,即包括各项施工准备阶段的控制,施工过程中的质量控制和竣工阶段的控制,才能实现项目质量目标。施工项目进度控制同投资控制及质量控制一样,是项目施工中的控制重点之一。科学的施工进度控制是保证施工项目按期完成,合理安排资源供应、节约工程成本的重要措施。而工程项目施工进度计划的动态控制常采用横道图与网络图两种方法。

建筑工程投资,工程质量控制和进度控制是项目建设的三大控制指标。其中质量控制关系到项目建设的成败与否关系到国家财产和人民群众的生命安全,是是否能够顺利完成工程的关键,工程项目的质量控制是企业立足的根本,也是企业长久发展的保证;进度的控制可以保证施工项目按期完成,合理安排资源供应节约成本的重要措施,提高整个工程项目管理效益的重要保障。
