Earthquakes are very
common on earth every day. Some of them are small while some are big and cause a bad result.
A terrible earthquake happened in Japan on March 11th,2011. As a result of the extreme(激烈的)earthquake,the huge waves washed away all the coast(海岸)area northeast of the country. ①

The more serious danger is nuclear power station explosion(核电站爆炸). It will be dangerous for the countries all over the world. Though a lot of countries including China have sent much help to Japan,the Japanese are still in trouble,because many people were killed in the disaster. ②
And some earthquakes even caused

tsunamis(海啸). It was said
that 300,000 people died in the Indonesian tsunami as a result of the earthquake in 2004.
