摘要
光纤分布数据接口(FDDI)是在IEEE 令牌环网的基础上发展起来的高速局域网标准,是目前成熟的LAN技术中传输速率最高的一种。这种传输速率高达100Mb/。该网络具有定时令牌协议的特性,支持多种拓扑结构,传输媒体为光纤。标准的FDDI网络是一种双环结构。为增加网络带宽的利用率,在数据传输中采用了多令牌访问协议,就是说在任意时间里,环上可以有多个数据帧同时传送,从而有效地提高了FDD I的实际数据传输率。它连接具有许多局域网段和大图形传输、语音和视频会议以及其他带宽要求大的应用产生的繁重流量的大型网络。本文先简要的介绍了FDDI的协议特点,并从其工作原理,访问技术和及FDDI的标准展开了论述,最后给出了FDDI技术在高速链路技术中的应用。
