How I learned to learn English
Last year my English class was difficult. ①First of all, it was not easy for me to understand the teacher ②when she talked. ③To begin with, she spoke too quickly, and I could not understand every word. ④Later on, I realized that it does not matter if you do not understand every word.
⑤I was also afraid to speak in class, because I thought my classmates might laugh at me.
I could not always plete sentences, either. Then I started to watch English-language TV. It helped a lot.

I think that doing lots of listening practice is one of the secrets of ing a good language learner.
Another thing that I found very difficult was English grammar. ⑥So I decided to take lots of grammar notes in every class. Then I started to write my own original sentences using the grammar I was learning. It is amazing how much this helped. ⑦Now I am enjoying learning English and I got an A this term. ⑧My teacher is very impressed.
