Introduction
French mission and Engineering Schools
In order for an French engineering school to be allowed to issue a university degree in engineering, such a school should first be accredited by a mission called “Commission des Titres de l'Ingénieur”(CTI) [1]. mission carefully evaluates all programs nationwide in any engineering domain every 6 years. It also can launch an evaluation process at any time so as to check whether the accreditation criteria are met.
Moreover, such mission is leading various task forces in areas such as changes in technology curricula, recruiting students in engineering, job experience validation procedure, continuing education, international relations, vocational training, etc.
One of the issues addressed by the CTI, and that is of interest for this paper, deals with informatics skills any engineer (not necessarily puter scientist) should own.
Cross-Disciplinary Informatics
According to this mission, any engineer (even non-specialist puter science) should be able to act as project manager in th
