语态用来表明主语与谓语动词之间的关系。有两种语态:主动语态和被动语态。
主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者,被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者。如:
①His father bought him a bicycle.
他父亲给他买了一辆自行车。(主动语态)
②A bicycle was bought for him (by his father).(被动语态)

3. 被动语态注意事项
1) 不及物动词的主动形式表示被动含义
cut、read、sell、wear、write、lock、close 、shut等词带状语修饰语,而且句子主语是物,此时用主动表被动说明这个主语物的某种内在特点。
