【摘要】教育教学质量是学校工作永恒的主题。高等教育大众化将是我国高等教育面临的一个长期现实。本文首先分析了由于办学规模迅速扩大所引发的影响本科教育质量的一系列问题。针对这些问题,笔者认为,教育部实施的本科教学工作水平评估是解决这些问题的有效举措,能够应对高等教育大众化对教育质量的挑战。只要严格按照“以评促建,评建结合”的要求进行,就能够有效地加强高校本科教学,提高本科教育质量和人才培养质量。并依据本科教学评估指标体系,从五个方面重点阐述了本科教学评估在保障和提高本科教育质量中的重要作用。

Abstract: Teaching quality is an everlasting focus in universities. Mass higher education will be a long-term strategy in China. First, this essay analyzes a series of problems in undergraduate teaching quality caused by university expansion. The authors think the undergraduate teaching level evaluation is an effective measure to solve these problems and to face the challenge of improving teaching quality. As long as the principles of “promoting development by evaluation and integrate evaluation and development” are followed, undergraduate teaching quality and talent cultivation will be improved.
