Abstract
AIM: To study the method for automatic analysis of blood vessels in digital chick embryo chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) images and develop a special experimental analysis system based on digital image processing and biomedical engineering.
METHODS: The experiment was performed at the Central Laboratory of School of Medical Instrument and Food Engineering, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2005 to June 2007.
