摘要
西部地域辽阔,矿产资源丰富,必将成为我国21世纪矿产资源的接替地。因此,开发西部的矿产资源将成为西部大开发的一项重要任务。但是,目前西部矿产资源开发中存在着勘探程度低、开发粗放及生态环境破坏严重等问题。针对这些问题,今后在西部矿产资源开发中,必须加大勘探工作的投入力度;建设大型的现代矿山企业;加强环境保护意识和执法力度,重视矿产资源的可持续发展。西部矿产资源丰富, 矿业产业在全国和西部经济社会发展中的地位突出, 但也存在着许多问题。通过合理延伸和调整产业链, 促进西部地区矿产资源高效开发利用, 构建西部资源产业基地, 实现资源优势向经济优势转化。研究西部地区矿产开发效用及面临的主要问题, 既关系到国家的产业整体结构和产业整体布局调整, 还可以为经济危机中寻求中国新的经济增本长点提供重要支撑。
