Sufficient funds of marketing expenses need to be allocated for the sensible
spending of the pre-opening activities, considering that the target opening date is
approximate and take longer than initially anticipated.

Obtain any available, recently conducted primary or secondary consumer, trade,
economy research which will provide an insight into the future positioning of the
hotel.
Contact key industry people (Hotels, Travel agencies, Airlines, Convention &
Visitors Bureaus, etc...) to listen market environment, recent trends, major
business sources and so on.
