An efficient quotation includes:
An expression of thanks for the enquiry, if there is previous enquiry.
Name of goods, quality, quantity and specifications.
Details of prices, discount and terms of payment.
Clear indication of what the prices cover, . packing, transport, agents’ commission, insurance.
An undertaking as to packing and date of delivery.
An expression of hope that the quotation will be accepted.
好的报价信应包括:
1、对以前的询价表示感谢。
2、所报商品的名称、质量、数量和规格。
3、有关价格、折扣和付款条件的细则。
4、详细表明价款所包括的方面,如包装、运费、代理商的佣金、保险费等。
5、预定包装、交货日期。
6、表示希望接受所给报价。
On Offers
Offer must municated to the offeree and it must give an undertaking that all essential terms are clearly definite.
Firm offers are made when a seller promises to sell goods at a stated price and within a stated time.
A price quotation is not an offer due to lacking expression of a promise to sell.
A price quotation with clear promise to sell can be considered an operative offer if it includes the essential terms of price or qu
