※关于so和such的区别: ※共性:都译为“如此,这样”. ※区别:具体如下。
1)so是副词它用法两种,①so可直接修饰形容词和副词,构成“ so + adj/adv ”此时adj后无名词② so还可以和形容词一起修饰单数名词,构成“so + adj +a/an+单数名词”
译为“如此一个…的…” Eg: 如此高的一个女孩____ ______ ____ ________
2)such 是形容词,它的用法有三种,① such 可以和形容词一起修饰单数名词,构成“such+ a/an +adj +单数名词”译为:如此一个…的… Eg:如此高的一个女孩____ _____ ____ ______
②such 还可以和形容词一起修饰复数名词,构成“such+ adj +名词复数”译为“如此…的…” Eg:如此胖的学生们______ ____ _____③②such 还可以和形容词一起修饰不复数名词,构成“such+ adj +不名词复数”译为“如此…的…”Eg:如此干净的水____ ____ ____
Eg:1) The snake is _______ dangerous to the people
2) I have _____ an interesting story = I have _____ ________ ____ book
3) It`s ______ strong milk that we all drink it.
补充:so的两种用法和such的三种用法后面都可以和“that + 句子”连用。而“that ”译为“以至于,结果”。这时这个句子叫做结果状语从句或目的状语从句
Eg:这本书是如此的有趣,以至于大多数孩子喜欢它。
This book is ______ ________ ______ most children like it.
他是一位如此高的男孩,以至于他能触摸到树上的苹果
He is ______ ______ a boy _____ he can touch the apples ____ the tree
= He is ______ ______ _____ boy _____ he can touch the apples ____ the tree
