中国作者与英语母语作者英语论文中的介入资源

提要:作为评价系统的子系统,介入反映作者在表述命题时针对读者立场和其他潜在观点所采取的姿态。本文选
择介入作为视角,对比英语母语作者和中国作者的英语学术论文。我们对一定数量的英语母语作者和中国作者英文学
术论文中的介入词汇进行人工标注,建立一个用于研究介入资源的熟语料库。利用语料库分析工具和定量分析方法,比
较该语料库中两组论文的介入资源。

Engagement, which constitutes a subsystem of the app raisal system, is concerned with the ways in which the writer positions
him self towards potential responses to the p ropositions he advances. This paper p resents an emp irical research on the differences
between Chinese and Native Speaker of English (NSE) authors in term s of their emp loyment of engagement resources in English
research articles. A marked up corpus consisting of English research articles by Chinese and NSE authors was created. The ways
that these Chinese and NSE authors use engagement resourceswere then studied to expose their differences by dint of concordance
and statistical analyses.
