海南书院空间形态及建筑特征研究

摘要
书院是我国古代特有的教育形式之一。它始于唐代,以介乎官学与私学之间的
教育机制存在。在此后封建社会的千余年中,书院历经几度起伏,有过高速发展,
也曾因打压而沉寂,最终广泛分布于全国各地,影响范围之大、程度之深远都确立
了它在我国教育史上不可撼动的地位。
书院存在的同时必然带来一种新的建筑形式,它满足书院“教育、藏书和祭祀”
这三大事业的需求,依据礼制的规范进行空间排列,形成了书院独有的空间形式。
海南虽位置偏远,但同样受到内陆文化传播的影响,有过辉煌的书院发展史。
它们以传统书院的形式为前提,结合琼岛的气候条件、文化特征和技术手段,形成
了独具海南特色的书院建筑体系。本文以海南书院为研究对象,通过查阅史料和实
地调研,对书院的空间组成序列和空间形态、书院建筑的构造及装饰手法进行深入
分析,总结出一定的构成规律,并以典型的实例加以论证;将海南书院建筑与海南
本土其他教育建筑类型以及外省典型书院实例进行多角度比较,分析异同,更加突
显其海南书院建筑的个性特征。
书院以“天人合一”的境界诠释建筑与环境的关系,它的空间组合讲究秩序和规
律性,它以“适用”为原则创造实用与礼制并重的精神载体,这些都是现代建筑设计
中需要领会的意图。本文通过对海南书院建筑的全面分析,提炼其设计内涵之精华,
力求最大限度地获取书院于建筑历史和设计等各方面的存在价值,为未来的建筑创
作提供有利参考。

Abstract
Academy is one of the special education forms in ancient China. It started in Tang
dynasty, as an education mechanism existing between official and private college. In the
thousands years of feudal society followed, academy degreed through several times
up-and-down, had been booming, also silenced because of the striking, eventually widely
distributed in the broad scope of our country. The largest scope of influence and the
deepest degree established its important position of education in our history.
The existence of academy brings a kind of new architecture form inevitably; it
satisfies three requirements of education, library and sacrifice, according to the demand of
etiquette for spatial arrangement, forms the unique spatial of academy.
Also Hainan province locates far remote, but been influenced by the cultural
communication of inland, has a brilliant history of academy. They premise with the
traditional forms of academy, combining the climate conditions, cultural features and
technical means of Qiongdao, forms unique characteristic of Hainan architecture system.
