摘要
唐代顺陵走狮这一艺术形象,在盛唐时期的帝陵石刻中出类拔萃,代表了这一
时代石刻艺术发展的最高水平,在中国雕塑史上具有划时代的典范意义,它塑造的
这一狮子形象,整体造型饱满单纯、雕刻手法洗练、装饰简约精美,形象刻画清晰
明确、神情动态生动自然,至今仍然是中国式石狮艺术在创作表现时所遵循的造型
样板。作为中国艺术史中典型的外来艺术形象,对它的研究,不仅可以使我们对我
国石狮艺术发展的历史源头有所了解,而且会加深我们对中国古代雕刻传统的复杂
构成面貌有所了解,同时又是我们当前艺术创作中,具有现实指导意义的历史参
照。
本文拟围绕顺陵走狮这一艺术形象,从历史成因、风格构成、视觉审美这三个
角度,分析在它的身上所隐含的艺术、文化、社会历史等诸多因素,对这一在中国
艺术史上具有典范意义的石刻佳作之所以产生的可能条件做线索梳理。为此,本文
按照走狮这一外来艺术形象进入中
载与最新考古发现,列举前期典型案例,进行简单的综合梳理,尤其是对走狮形象
早期进入我国的可能线路、影响其后来发展的地域风格、宗教背景、社会和人为原
因展开讨论,在此基础上,对唐顺陵走狮形象审美成分中的造型观念、形式语言、
艺术表现力以及形成上述方面的文化、时代背景和它的历史地位做较为详细的阐
明;本文中还对顺陵走狮艺术性形象在唐陵石刻中出现和消失的原因,从时代和石
刻工艺的角度进行了简单分析,并做出结论。以上这些探索和研究工作,都是抱着
积极面向传统的态度,以期有助于更深刻的理解中国文化中的艺术精神,并在那里
汲取有益于当下的艺术创作上的营养成分。

Abstract
The art image of walking lion of the Shun-mausoleum in the Tang Dynasty which
stands out in glorious age of Tang poetry time's emperor has represented this time carved
stone art development maximum level, and has the epoch-making model significance in
the Chinese sculpture history. Due to this lion image overall modelling full pure, carving
technique inct, decorating brief fine and the facial expression dynamic vivid nature
clearly, until now it was still Chinese style stone lion art which the creation performance
followed. As the Chinese art history in typical external artistic image, to researching this
model, not only may enable us to have the understanding to the developing historical
sourceour of stone lion art , but also could deepen us to understang plex
constitution appearance of the ancient carved stone tradition, meanwhile which has the
reality guide to our current artistic creation.
