摘要
虚拟造型技术是虚拟现实技术的重要组成部分,主要针对产品的概念设计。
虚拟造型有交互的直接性与模糊性两大特点。由于在飞行器概念设计阶段,飞行
器布局需要不断调整,对飞行器模型进行实体建模,重复性工作较多,所以目前
比较成熟的 CAD 设计方法在飞行器概念设计阶段应用的仍然有不少问题。将虚
拟造型技术应用在飞行器设计的概念设计中,可以实现飞行器外形的快速成型,
大大简化了设计过程。
本文首先简单阐述了飞行器概念设计阶段的任务;接着介绍了虚拟造型技术
及其相关技术(包括虚拟现实技术和虚拟设计技术),及虚拟设计环境的开发策
略和系统结构,并介绍了本文使用的虚拟设备和软件环境(CATIA/CAA 平台);
然后,讲述了曲线、曲面的相关基础知识,分析研究了 CATIA 中的曲面造型模
块与 CAA 中与曲面造型相关的类和模块;最后对虚拟环境中,曲面造型的关键
技术进行了研究,使用 CAA 开发工具,在 CATIA 平台上建立飞机外形模型,并
在虚拟环境中实现了曲面变形。这些功能的实现为进一步在虚拟环境中以雕塑黏
土模型的方式构造自由曲面奠定了基础。

Abstract
Virtual sculpture is one of the key parts of virtual reality. It mainly focuses on the
conceptual design in product development. Virtual sculpture is featured as direction
and in-definition for interaction. There is a lot of duplicated work for re-building the
model of the proposed conceptual aircraft as the layout is often changed in the
conceptual design. Several mature CAD design methods used in aircraft conceptual
design have many problems at present. By the introduction of the virtual sculpture
into the aircraft conceptual design, designers can rapidly re-shape the aircraft and
reduce the work in this phase.
Firstly, the tasks in aircraft conceptual design were described in this thesis. The
virtual sculpture and the relevant technologies including virtual reality and virtual
design were discussed. The strategy and architecture of the virtual environment were
proposed. The virtual device and software development environment which were used
to perform the research were presented. Secondly, the curve and surface theory was
presented and the surface model in CATIA including relative classes and model in
CAA were discussed. At last, the research of the key fundamentals of curved surface
