Course Program
6 Credit Hours
GENERAL
The objective of this subcourse is to introduce the student to the
principles of basic electronics. In task one of the subcourse text, the
student will learn the elements of electricity, safety requirements,
voltage, current, resistance functions, Ohm's law, and resistor color codes.
In task two, the student will employ the knowledge gained in task one to
measure pute voltage. In addition, we will cover the three types of
circuits that will be encountered in the electronics field and how batteries
are connected to each of these circuits.
Six credit hours are awarded for pletion of this subcourse.
