理解网络舆论——关于网络舆论产生的可能性分析

摘要
网络是天生的舆论催生地,网络的出现不仅在传播手段上整合了先前传播媒
介,它集文字、图象、影音等形式一身;更重要的是它也整合了这些传播媒介的传
播特性,例如,它具有报纸、电视等大众媒介的公开性与广泛性,同时也有书信、
电话等人际媒介的互动性。因此,在吸纳了先前传播媒介的优势,网络形成了一个
特殊的电子空间。这个空间将分散在各处的个人聚集起来,让他们关注同一个社会
事件,又让他们围绕这个社事件进行意见交换,这注定的了网络舆论的产生。
本文从新的理论视角来研究网络舆论,将网络舆论看做是集体行为的一种类型。
网络舆论就是在一定的社会环境中,公众围绕某一社会事件在网络上发表一致性意
见的行为。区别于传统研究侧重于对网络舆论的“外壳”——意见的研究,本文的
研究取向将公众的参与行为提到了关键的位置。
在其他学者研究网络舆论的基础上,参照有关集体行为产生的理论,本文提出
了网络舆论可能产生一个理论框架,用公式表示为:
F(P)=f( St,Ss,Ot)
其中 P 代表网络舆论产生的可能性,St 代表社会紧张度,Ss 社会事件的波及率,
Ot 代表意见门槛。
在这三个变量中,社会紧张度是网络舆论产生的宏观氛围;社会事件的波及率
是网络舆论产生的中观场域;意见门槛是网络舆论产生的微观个人参与。因此,这
个理论框架涉及了网络舆论产生的宏观、中观和微观三个层次,构成一个整体预测
次序。同时,在对每一个变量阐述时进一步的提出变量自身存在的条件,是对理论
框架的明晰和深化。当三个变量各自出现的条件都满足时,就预示着网络舆论的形
成。

Abstract
Network is the Place born to generate public opinion, The emergence works not
only integrated the previous media in the means munication, It contain the
text,images, audio-visual and other forms. More importantly, it also integrates the
characteristics of these media, For example, It have the openness and extensiveness of the
newspapers, television and other mass media, At the same time, It have the interactive
ofcorrespondence, telephone and other interpersonal media , taking
advantage of the media previously,work has formed a special e- space
can bring together the individuals who Scattered throughout the them
concerned about the same social event ,allowing them to exchange of the views about the
same social events also , This is destined to generate the public opinion .
In this paper, study the public opinion by a new theoretical perspective, the
public opinion is seen as a type of collective behavior. the public opinion
