区域经济竞争力研究——湖北省竞争力实证分析

摘要
区域经济竞争力日益成为政府政策和理论研究关注的热点。越来越多的专家学者
认识到,加快区域经济的发展,关键就是要着力提升区域经济综合竞争力。本文首先
归纳总结了区域竞争力的理论基础,据此提出了区域经济竞争力的评价体系总体框架;
其次介绍了区域经济竞争力研究中常用的主成分分析法、层次分析法、聚类分析法等
方法,并运用主成分分析法对中国中部地区六省 2005 年的区域竞争力水平进行了实证
研究和比较分析,全面展示了省域经济综合竞争力的内涵;文章最后根据实证分析得
出结论:从各省的总指数得分来看,湖北省的经济综合竞争力在中部六省中位列第二,
仅次于河南省。在此基础上,着重对湖北省竞争力现状及水平进行了深入分析,并提
出了湖北经济综合竞争力发展战略。
本文在研究中综合运用了经济竞争理论、区域经济理论、竞争力理论等,在借鉴
国内外学者的研究成果的基础上,采取了定性与定量分析相结合、规范分析与实证分
析并举的研究方法,并借助统计分析软件 SPSS,采用主成分分析方法构建了区域经济
竞争力计量模型。本文的主要意义在于通过完善、改进区域竞争力评价指标体系,对
湖北省及中部地区各省的竞争力进行综合评价,确定湖北省在竞争中所处的位置,明
确其优势、劣势,从而为增强湖北省的竞争力提供一定的思路。

Abstract
Regional petitiveness attracts attentions from scholars as well as from
others. More and more people agree that, to accelerate the development of the regional
economy, it is very important to improve petitiveness of regional economy. However,
what does it mean-petitiveness of regional economy? How do we analyze the
competitiveness qualitatively or quantitatively?
To answer these questions, this paper first summarizes the foundation of the regional
petitiveness theory and bring forward a new frame petitiveness of
regional economy evaluation system; Then the paper introduces the analytic approaches
ponent Analysis, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Cluster Analysis and
uses ponent Analysis to demonstrate the distribution characteristics and
developing trends of the petitiveness at the province level between Hubei
Province and Other Central Area of China in 2005; At last , The paper draws a conclusion
that , Hubei is in the second place in Central Area of China.
The paper researches and analyzes systematically on how to establish an evaluation
index system on regional petitiveness and uses the statistic software SPSS to
calculate petitiveness index. Empirical study parative analysis are used in
