Abstract: By taking Fuxin City for example, this study discusses that active development of tourism
and implementation of intelligent tourism program are of vital practical significance to economic
transition of resources-exhausted cities. This paper attempts to analyze the Fuxin tourism performance
indicators for the further development and presents a framework model for intelligent tourism program
including three modules: intelligent tourism zone, intelligent hotel, and intelligent travel agency. The
proposed intelligent tourism program can be used by most of the tourism sectors as a service available
for panoramic planning and improving petitiveness of tourism destinations.
