RrcrnRo La RuINa was born in London in 1980. Always shy
and reserved, he moved to Cambridge with his mother aged
twelve. Although his own teachers considered him an
underachiever, Richard's initial ambition was to be a primary
school teacher. However, he soon discovered the stock market,
buying his first shares after his eighteenth birthday. This led to
five years of trading from home. It was both. a gift and a curse,
making him enough money to travel the world while he
completely neglected his social tife. At twenty-one Richard had
never kissed a girl, or even been 6n a date. His first relarionship
lasted two-and-a-half years, which granted him some much-
needed confidence with women. From this point, he resolved to
boost his self-esteem by improving his fashion sense and body
language, while engaging in activities like public speaking and
salsa dancing to develop confidence. After moving back to
London, Richard joined the international 'pick-up artist'
communiry meeting literally hundreds ofwomen each month to
enhance his seduction skills and make up for lost time. He soon
realised he was perfectly placed to teach these skills, setting up a
website to offer one-to-one training. In 2007 he set up
, the only pany of its type, whose
staffhave already trained hundreds of students.
