Russia is the world's major produc er and exporter of mineral resources, China is the world's major en ergy importer. Thus , the Sino-Russian energy cooperation a nd trade relation s between the two coun tries are extremely attended. China and Russia have plementarity and broad prospects for cooperation in the energy sector. China and Russia ar e friendly neighbors in the region, there is a strong plementarity, good political relations between two countries in the political c ooperation between two countries but also for the oil resources necessary to lay the political foundation. More importantly, China wants to have money in Russia
