摘要
礼貌用语作为人类社会交际的重要方式,它的主要作用就是维持社会秩序,维护人际关系,在人们的交流中为减少冲突和误解起了至关重要的作用。礼貌用语作为一种普遍的现象,是文化价值的具体表现所在,通过对文化的深入了解,也可得知语言本身存在的原则。
本文分为五部分,第一部分为引言,介绍了礼貌用语在人际交往中所起的重要作用;第二部分是从会话准则的角度分析礼貌原则;第三部阐述了礼貌用语在英汉中表达方式的异同;第四部分通过礼貌文化差异性研究对跨文化交际的启示解析了造成礼貌用语的文化因素;最后得出的结论是熟知语言结构是提高人们使用礼貌用语的水平重要基础,也是建立良好的人际关系保障。

Abstract
Politeness is not a new topic as a universal phenomenon in society; its main functions are maintaining social order, maintaining friendly interpersonal relations; reducing conflicts and misunderstandings by means of polite speech acts so as to attain the aim munication. Polite speech and act is only superficial phenomenon, which is a reflection of certain culture value. Only through a deep exploration of the culture can be seen the true nature of language.
This article divided into five parts. The first is introduction so as to introduce the important function in munication. The second tries to analyse the politeness from principles of conversation. The third proposes the differences from polite expression. The fourth has function on politeness through the cross-cultural differences between Chinese and English. The last part conducts the conclusion that it improves the ability of people in using politeness to establish interpersonal rela
