As a mathematics teacher, how to understand the new curriculum idea and foster a correct teaching concept of mathematics teaching isa good opportunity and challenge for teachers in middle schools. Guided by the new curriculum idea, teachers should be clear that teaching design isa core link to implement the new curriculum ideas. Starting with the required correct teaching idea and teaching conscio usness , this thesis takes further analysis on the key points of the mathematics teaching design under new curriculum idea, and then presents an effective strategy of teaching design to improve class teaching quality based on some essful teaching design cases of middle school mathematics teaching themes.
