Th is standard isa revision of the Plastic WC Seats and Covers (JC/T 764-2001). The main differences of th is standard parison with ANSI Z -1997 are as follows : - Add special performance specifications and test methods on the WC seats and covers made of wood, composite material and resin; - Add definitions, technical requirements and test methods on slow fall down WC seats and covers; - Add requirements on static load, moisture resistance, and cold-hot fatigue; - Employ the requirements for public use for unrecoverable bend amount. The main variations made in th is standard parison with JC/T 764-2001 are as follows : - Add dimensional requirements and test methods; - Add technical requirements and test methods on soft close type WC seats and covers; - Add special performance specifications and test methods on the WC seats and covers made of wood, composite material and resin; - Eliminate the classifications of public use and domestic use for unrecoverable bend amount, but the technical requirements is the same as that for public use; - Add requirements on static load, moisture resistance, and cold-hot fatigue. The Appendix A and Appendix B in th is standard are normative. Th is standard replaces JC/T 764-2001 from the date of implementation.
