Step 1 Warming up
What do you usually see in the fridge? And what do you like best?
Step 2 Presentation
1. Show some pictures of food on the screen and learn the new words.
(banana, hamburger, tomato, ice­cream, salad, strawberry, pear, milk, bread)
Ask Ss in this way:
T: Do you like bananas?
S1: Yes, I do. I like bananas./No, I don't like bananas.
2. Let Ss read and try to remember the new words.
3. Games about new words.

Step 3 Work on 1a
1. Look at the picture in 1a. Match the words with the things in the picture. Then check the answers.

Step 5 Pair work

3. Look at the picture and make more conversations using the words in 1a.
4. Let some pairs act out their conversations.
Step 6 Homework
1. Copy the new words twice.
