Favism is a kind a disease which lack of an enzyme called glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
It's a genetic disease.
These patient always have peracute hemolysis when eating fresh broad bean.
Susceptible person
This kind of disease alaways occur in children.
90 percentage of the patients are man.
The proportion of sex:7man contrast 1women.
Clinical symptoms
In the early periods:fear clod、giddiness、low fever 、anorexia 、bellyache.
Then it will occur jaundice anemia and continue almost 3days.
Sometimes occur disgorge、diarrhea、liver and spleen enlargement.
Serious patinets' kidney will exhausted,if treatment isn't immediately,he will die in 1 or 2 days.
Clinical diagnosis
Glucose-6-phosphate gene is locate in the X chromosme and it has part dominant character.
G-6-PD sieve experiment.
G-6-PD quantity determine.
