中国银行业的市场结构、产权结构与绩效

摘要
关于中国银行业的改革方式,学术界一直存在着市场结构改革和产权结构
改革之争,有的学者主张应从优化银行业的市场结构入手,有的学者则认为应
以银行业的产权结构改革为突破口。那么对于提高整个中国银行业的绩效而言,
市场结构改革和产权结构改革到底孰轻孰重呢,本论文就从市场结构和产权结
构两个角度,用中国银行业的相关经验数据,对银行业的绩效分别进行了单因
素和双因素的系统实证分析,结果表明:
(1) 现在中国银行业整体上属于寡头垄断市场结构,但从动态发展趋势
看,中国银行业正在经历从寡头垄断到垄断竞争市场结构的转变过程中。再以
中国银行业 1992-2003 年的相关数据为样本,通过对其市场结构与绩效关系的实
证检验得知,中国银行业的集中度变量与其利润率较显著负相关,而这与 SCP
范式的“集中度—利润率”假说相悖,并且规模变量与其利润率呈非常显著的负相
关关系。
(2)目前在整个中国银行业,国有企业控股的产权结构形式占了绝对主体
地位。通过对其产权结构与绩效关系的实证检验得知,中国银行业的国有股权
份额与其利润率显著负相关,这说明产权结构是影响银行业绩效的不可忽视的
重要因素。
(3)最后从市场结构和产权结构两个角度,对银行业的绩效进行了实证检
验,结果表明,规模变量是影响银行业体绩效的决定因素,而集中度和国有股
权份额变量相比较而言都是影响银行业绩效的次要因素。因此,我们的最后结
论是:市场结构是影响银行业绩效的决定因素,而产权结构相比较而言是次要
的。

ABSTRACT
On the way of banking reform,there has been a dispute between market and
property rights structure reform in academics. Some argue that optimizing the market
structure of banking industry should be put on first. Other scholars hold that
reforming the property rights structure is key . But which is more important ? This
thesis had an empirical analysis on performance of Chinese banking industry from
two angles of market and property rights structure, based on theory of industrial
organization and data of Chinese banking industry. The results showed like this.
(1) Now, oligopoly is present in the Chinese banking industry. However, from
developing trends, the market structure is transforming from oligopoly petitive.
Then we had an empirical analysis on relationship between market structure and
performance of Chinese banking industry, based on the data from 1992 to 2003. The
thesis pointed out that market concentration had a negative effect on profit, which is
opposite to SCP paradigm. And scale variable had a significant negative effect on
profit.
