The Overview Of Christian Culture and Its Spirit
Chapter V
By Christian culture, we mean bination of the worldview, life attitude and value orientation based on Christianity.
Without Christianity, there would be no present western culture.
Without Christianity, there would be no modernization and progress of the ancient western culture.
Without Christianity, without the intense conflicts between the soul and the body, the sensuality and the rationality, the Heaven and the Hell that are reflected in Christian culture, there would be no strong inner drive to development within the western culture.
Two basic principles:
Make a clear distinction between cultural ideological system between religion carrier and religion customs.
Be aware that Christian culture is a cultural religious system that changes and develops with the time.

What are the fundamental elements of Christian culture
Three characteristics:
The belief target: the Trinity God__ God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
Purpose of belief: Salvation
Way of belief: emphasis on the spiritual power of Human itself
What does the Christian Bible mainly concern?
a. What is the origin of the world?
the creation of Light
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
(Genesis I: 3-4)
b. What is the essence of Man?
The formation of Eve
She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
(Genesis 2: 23)
c. What is the relationship between Man and the world?
the Old Testament: God_ absolute power (spiritual world)
the New testament: Jesus_ the media between the pure material world and the pure spiritual world
