Abstract—Endocrine disruptors (EDCs) have caused great 17β-estradiol (E2), Bisphenol A (BPA), Nonyl phenols,
concerns for the safety of water environment and drinking water Di-n-butyl phthalates, Hexachlorobenzene, and polychorinated
in recent years. This paper uses lab-cultured human breast biphenols [11-13]. The efficiency of drinking water treatment
cancer cells (MCF-7) to examine the changes of water process on the control of estrogenicity of the pollutants was
estrogenicity during the drinking water treatment process and
hence crucial for the safety of the customers. However, most
uses chemical analysis as supplementary information. The results
showed that MCF-7 were extremely sensitive to the aqueous researchers used chemical analytical methods to measure the
estrogenicity; cell proliferation by 17-β Estradio (E2) was concentrations of single EDC without evaluating the overall
observed at concentration as low as 10-14 mol/l. Overdose might estrogenicity of the water samples. Since the EDCs have very
cause poisoning of cell, which led to the cell decrease instead plex dose-res
