Abstract—Bohai Rim includes three provinces and two region, and influencing the sustainable development of

to solve the problem, but some difficulties appeared during the
course of the two projects. By contrast, the project of sea ice
desalination has made active and great achievement as a third
way to alleviate freshwater crisis in Bohai Rim. Water quality
desalinated from sea ice is not uniform, so purposely use the
abundant sea ice resources as water source for industry,
agriculture and living is very likely to open a new path for the
