Abstract— A new severe disease with the record of the B. Plant inoculation
cucumber bacterial white spot was observed on cucumber
seedlings in a greenhouse in Liaoning province of China since The pathogenicity of selected strains on cucumber plantlets
was assayed. Inoculation was done by spraying bacterial
2007. The spot of the disease is round or subround, membranous 8 -1
in the middle and halos pass. Bacterial ooze is not found suspensions (5×10 CFU ml ) on the leaves of cucumber
around the disease position. Relative studies are taken on Biolog seedlings. The inoculated plants were then incubated in a
tests and 16S rDNA gene sequence for CU-PV 08. The pathogen growth chamber (16 h of light at 24℃ and 8 h of darkness)
of cucumber bacterial white spot was identified as Pseudomonas under almost 100% relative humidity. Symptoms were
viridiflava (Burkholder 1930)Dowson 1939. recorded essive 4 days after inoculation.
