1 Scope and field of application
This standard specifies dimensions, designation and values of mass for rollers for needle roller bearings.
2 Concepts
Grade
A grade (G) is designated by a specific combination of dimensional and form tolerances. diameter and surface roughness.
Gauge
A gauge is a diameter deviation range limited by an upper and a lower deviation of lhe mean needle roller diameter.

Circularity
Circularity, is the maximum radial di st a nee between the needle roller surface and an envelop! ng circle, measured at the middle of the needle roller (ct ISO 1101).
