第一节概述
我国恶性肿瘤的发病率为173／10万人，占总死亡人数的22％，占死亡原因(yuányīn)的第二位。
降低死亡率的最有效手段是早期的治疗，因此早期的诊断极其重要。
肿瘤标志物的测定在肿瘤的早期诊断过程中具有不可替代的作用。

肿瘤标志物（TM）是指在恶性肿瘤发生(fāshēng)和增殖过程中，由肿瘤细胞的基因表达而合成分泌的或是由机体对肿瘤反应而异常产生和/或升高的，反映肿瘤存在和生长的一类物质，包括蛋白质、激素、酶（同工酶）、多***及癌基因产物等。TM存在于病人的血液、体液、细胞或组织中。

Definition
Tumor markers are substances produced either directly by tumor cells or by a tumor-cell-induced synthesis in non-tumorous cells. They can be found in large amounts in the blood or urine of some patients with cancer. Less often, they can also be found in large amounts in the blood or urine of people who do not have cancer.
