秋胡戏妻主题嬗变及文化内涵

摘要
秋胡故事是中国古老的民间故事之一叙述负心男子秋胡离家多年之后返乡调
戏桑间女子而此女恰是他相见不相识的妻子最后妻子不齿其行投河而死的故事
本文以秋胡戏妻故事的发生地桑间与秋胡妻的采桑行为为切入点结合中国
古代文学中频繁出现的桑林意象与采桑女意象分析秋胡戏妻故事形成的历
史文化背景指出从上古的桑林崇拜及桑中风俗到中古洁妇模式中国古代桑林意象
从原始的生殖崇拜逐渐演变为实在的人间礼俗而劳作其间象征人类相诱相亲最初渴
望的采桑女也逐渐演变成为断然拒绝无行男子纠缠的洁妇秋胡妻形象就是这批洁妇
的最早一个版本
如果排除二人的夫妻关系秋胡故事实际上只是封建男权制下男人们的平常游
戏但由于夫妻关系的存在就形成了特定环境下既对立又依赖的人物关系戏剧冲
突由此产生使本故事具有了戏剧性因此秋胡故事的独特之处就在于过路男子
的求欢对象是分离多年相见不识的妻子这就使路边邂逅的求欢行为与婚姻所赋予
的夫妻间的伦理爱发生了剧烈的冲突冲突的性质及结果在不同时代不同作家笔下
呈现出不同的形态论文勾勒了从汉代到近代秋胡戏妻故事在不同时代叙述者笔下的
变化从中我们可以看出潜伏在这一故事中种种细微变化后面的社会文化背景以及
它所给予故事的影响
最后文章专列一章论述元杂剧鲁大夫秋胡戏妻中的秋胡妻形象因为它以戏
剧的形式使得秋胡戏妻的故事为更多世人了解更因为它生动细致的故事情节描写背
后可以让我们把握更多中国古代妇女生活的真相

Abstract
The story of Qiuhu dallied with his wife is an ancient folktale in China. The story
portrayed a heartless man named Qiuhu. He dallied with a woman in the mulberry forest
when he returned his hometown after departing for a few of years. Unfortunately, this
woman was just his wife he could not recognize. At the end of the story, the poor woman
threw into the river for her husband’s awfully behavior.
In the classical literature, picking mulberry not only meant the working process, but
also implied the worship of mulberry forest and the custom of love between men and
women. Later, Confucians and the educated people were dissatisfied with this wanton
custom and began to reconstruct the old subject of the mulberry forest. So the mode of
mulberry forest that metaphor the relationship between men and women experienced the
procedure from the allurement to the refusal. That was the historical and cultural
background of Qiuhu story.
This dissertation analyzes the historical and cultural background of Qiuhu story. The
author points out that the Qiuhu story is just a normal story in feudal society, were the
protagonists not couples. However, the existence of their couples relationship made their
